Short, dog-leg right Par 4. A signature hole. Water hazard / penalty area is masked behind the “mound” on the right and flanks the length of the hole. Trouble on the left comprises another water hazard penalty area and the scrub-covered dunes backing on to the beach. The cross fairway “swale” is in play, bunkers on the left provide a target line from the tee. Beware the pot bunker defending the front, right hand side of the green and again there’s difficult rough behind if you go long.
